    TECHNIQUES

Osteopaths would primarily use application of spinal and joint manipulation, tend to use more “hands on” approach to help restore balance and function.

Physiotherapist also use “hands on” treatment, but will focus in exercise-based rehabilitation to reduce pain and improve mobility.

Both practitioners use a wide variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, dry needling, exercises and education as treatment.
